FIELD: biotechnology, microbiology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for determination of lysozyme activity of biological objects. Method involves culturing Micrococcus lysodeicticus № 2665 GISK named for Tarasevich as a test-culture on liquid nutrient medium at temperature 27°C to value of optical density 3.2-3.4 followed by lyophilic drying the grown culture. Suspension is prepared from the grown test-culture and this suspension is added to analyzed biological object followed by calculation of lysozyme activity of biological object by the known method. Invention provides obtaining the more precise, reliable and comparable data concerning the level of lysozyme activity in biological object. Invention can be used in evaluation of antibacterial immunity of organism, ecological tolerance of organisms to environment factors.
EFFECT: improved assay method.
