FIELD: ferrous metallurgy; methods of feeding of the natural gas into the blast furnaces.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular, to the blast-furnace production process and may be used at smelting the cast iron in the blast furnaces with the natural gas injection into the blower nozzles. The method provides for preheating of the natural gas before its injection into the blower nozzle by utilization of the natural gas as the cooling medium for cooling of the components of the blower nozzles instruments. At that the preheating of the natural gas is conducted stepwise in series gating the gas through the cooling cavities of the being cooled components of the blower nozzle in direction of the blast movement in the blower nozzle instrument, and also in the direction opposite to the blast movement direction in the blower nozzle instrument preheating the natural gas on each step by 50 - 150°C. The usage of the invention ensures reduction of the coke consumption and the increase the blast furnace productivity.
