FIELD: ammunition used for fire from large-caliber machine guns and designed for destruction of light armored equipment, whose engines operate on liquid heavy fuels.

SUBSTANCE: the bullet has an armor-piercing slug with a cavity, incendiary agent and a cup with a tracer composition, as well as an additional incendiary agent placed in the cavity of the armor-piercing slug. The armor-piercing slug is made with the following relations of dimensions: l_s=(0.50...0.53)l_b, d_s=(0.82...0.84)d_bgb, l_caps=(0.64...0.68)d_s, where l_s - the length of the armor-piercing slug; l_b - the bullet length; d_s - the diameter of the armor-piercing slug; d_bdb - the diameter of the bullet guide band; l_caps - the depth of the armor-piercing slug cavity. The cup with a tracer is positioned behind the armor-piercing slug, and cup outside diameter d_os corresponds to diameter d_s of the armor-piercing slug.

EFFECT: simplified manufacture of the bullet and enhanced length of tracing.
