FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: armour-piercing incendiary bullet with tracer contains a metal shell, shirt and placed in it incendiary composition, glass with tracer and armour-piercing core with cavity, made with truncation, wherein the core is fitted with a tip in the form of a cone with angle at top L=136°, located coaxially to the longitudinal axis of the core, with a height of h=1/5 d, the core is made with a circular cavity in which additional incendiary composition is placed, and with end cone hollow space in which at the depth of hollow space a glass with tracer is placed. The inner surface of the hollow space cone and the outer contacting surface of the glass are made with the same angle equal to β=5-16°, and the tracer composition consists of the first checker of slowly burning pyrotechnic composition and the subsequent checkers of brightly burning pyrotechnic composition. The shirt is made of a composite fibrous material by winding longitudinal and transverse alternating layers of fibers impregnated with a polymer binder. The annular groove of the core can be made in the cross-section rectangular or trapezoidal. As the fibers can be used basalt, boron, coal, and armour-piercing core is made of hard alloy TT10K8-B.
