COMPACT-DISK HOLDER Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: compact-disk holding devices. SUBSTANCE: compact-disk holder has base 12; disk gripping device, 15, 16 that protrudes above base 12 and functions to catch disk through its central bore for releasing it; flexible ejecting device 17 intended for disengaging compact-disk from disk gripping device 15, 16 in releasing the latter. Gripping device includes inwardly protruding flexible radial levers 15 secured in overhanging manner on base 12. Inner ends of levers 15 are mechanically joined together so that pressure applied to any one or more internal ends of levers 15 causes bending of each lever towards base 12 to set apart internal ends of levers 15 through distance sufficient for disengaging them from disk. Holder may be made as integral molded plastic part in the form of pant or mounting it in case or in the form of part of case wall for holding compact-disk.
