FIELD: food-processing industry, in particular, production of snacks.
SUBSTANCE: according to one of versions, method involves heating stage including placing product comprising piece of bread or bread crumbs between two pressure-applying surfaces and heating said product under pressure. Snack may be also prepared by rolling said product followed by heating stage. Also described in Specification are snack prepared by any of indicated methods and snack-like food product.
EFFECT: provision for preparing of product having texture similar to that of potato chips though said product is prepared from bread.
