SUBSTANCE: invention relates to liquid food product packing machines. Proposed method of correction of outer image for forming and sealing device is designed to make sealed liquid food product packs from packing material hose delivered along trajectory of feeding and containing two pairs of clamps made for displacement along said trajectory of feeding and opened and closed mainly for cyclic and alternate movement relative to each other along forming and sealing section on which said pairs of clamps close and move together with said hose, and along section of repeated positioning on which pairs of clamps open and move relative to hose. For correcting outer image, nominal trajectory P of said clamps is modified on section of repeated positioning basing on signal of error relative to nominal position. First decision provides for correction of movement of clamps by selective modification of amplitude of trajectory, and second decision provides for correction of phase of trajectory of clamp.
