FIELD: mechanical engineering; conveyor transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed belt conveyor includes frame, drive and tension drums enclosed by endless conveyor belt whose sides are hinge-connected with hangers distributed at preset interval over entire length of belt contour and resting on guides arranged on carrying run over sides of conveyor belt, sides and provided with transient sections for flattening the belt in zones adjoining drive and tension drums. Guides for hangers are made on carrying run of conveyor in form of channel beams arranged over belt sides in pairs. Said channel beams are C-shaped in cross section, with vertical position of walls relative to conveyor belt and attached, with clearance between them, by upper webs to brackets installed at preset internal along conveyor length on its frame for displacement in direction square to longitudinal axis of conveyor. Guides on return run of conveyor are turned through 90° relative to initial position of carrying run, being fastened to posts of conveyor frame. Hangers for belt are made in form of rubber shoes with lining made of low-friction material on their support planes and connected with conveyor belt by flexible connecting members made of rubberized cloth conveyor belt and hinge-connected to sides of conveyor belt.
EFFECT: simplified design, improved reliability.
