FIELD: chemical industry; metallurgy; methods of manufacture of the frictional articles.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to invention concerns to chemical industry and metallurgy industry and may be used at manufacture of the articles of the abrasive and frictional assignment. The method of manufacture of the frictional article includes the stapling of the carbonic fiber, its mechanical intermixing by the turbulent stream of the conveying agent with the peck powder, the subsequent settling of the mixture on the filtration component by action of the stream of the conveying agent with formation of the squeezer-package having the structure with the various orientation of the fibers filaments all over the volume, molding of the article billet by volumetric compaction of the squeezer-package at the temperature below the temperature of the peck softening, molding of the article by pressing of the billet with the simultaneous action of the pressure and heat at the temperature exceeding the peck softening temperatures, and the stabilizing thermal treatment of the article. Before the stapling action the initial carbonic fiber made in the form of the continuous harnesses are dressed by the finishing coke-forming polymeric compound, shaped into the leas made out of the continuous harnesses and graphitized at the temperature of 2000-3050°С at the tight packing of the leas. The invention ensures prevention of the disruptions of the graphite fibers at the technological conversions of production of the brake plates.
