FIELD: food processing industry, in particular production of alcohol gel-like beverages.
SUBSTANCE: method for base production includes blending of alcohol-containing raw materials with thickener in form of agar or pectin or mixtures thereof in ratio of 1:(1-95). Obtained mixture is hold for 4 h at room temperature in closed vessel for swelling. Then closed vessel with obtained product is heated on water bath under continuous stirring up to complete thickener dissolution. Mass is filtered through screen, bottled in forms and cooled to room temperature. Base obtained by the claimed method may contain (mass %): alcohol-containing raw materials 1-95; water 4.99-94; thickener 0.01-5; or (mass %): alcohol-containing raw materials 1-90; water 5-84; thickener 5-15.
EFFECT: product of improved quality and prolonged storage time.
