FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: thickener in form of carboxymethylcellulose is first mixed with gellan gum in weight ratio (90-98):(10-2) or xanthane gum in weight ratio (80.0-99.7):(20.0-0.3), and then with water in ratio 1:10. The mixture is dispersed for 2 minutes and then dissolved, wherein the thickener with gellan gum is dissolved for 10-20 minutes on a water bath at temperature 90-100°C and the obtained solution is cooled to room temperature, and the thickener with xanthane gum is dissolved at room temperature. Water is added a sweetener in form of a sugar substitute or sugar in ratio of (0.003-0.06): (49.497-92.397) and (1-50):(18-92.5), respectively. A solution of thickener and alcohol is added to the solution of the sweetener, wherein the solution of the sweetener based on the sugar substitute, the solution of the thickener and alcohol are mixed in ratio of (49.5-92.4):(5.5-22):(1-45) wt %, respectively, and the solution of the sweetener based on sugar, the solution of the thickener and alcohol are mixed in ratio of (44-93.5):(5.5-22): (1-45) wt %, respectively. The obtained base is kept at room temperature for 40-60 minutes.

EFFECT: obtaining an alcohol-containing base with improved application properties owing to retention of fluidity and high viscosity, having gel consistency, produced in 2-3 hours and retaining liquid properties at room temperature for a long period of time, which widens the field of application and improved application properties of products and beverages produced using said base.
