FIELD: powder metallurgy, namely sintered copper base electric contact materials.
SUBSTANCE: material may be used for making electric contacts of low-voltage electric apparatuses for switching circuits of direct or alternating currents less than 300 A. Sintered electric-contact copper-base material is produced of mixture containing ultra-dispersed powder of zinc oxide with fraction size no more than 0.006 micrometers and copper powder clad with titanium nitride at next relation of ingredients, mass %: titanium nitride, 1 -4; zinc oxide, 1 - 5: copper, the balance.
EFFECT: lowered wear degree of switching, reduced oxidation degree, improved operational reliability and increased useful life period.
