FIELD: technology for producing goods using composite materials by reeling on machines with digital program control.
SUBSTANCE: method is based on principle of determining likeness between calibration object, consisting of N≥12 black rectangles, positioned on one of surfaces of object coordinates system, with projection of image produced by video camera. Calibration if performed on basis of ten shots, producing during movement of calibration object with certain step, a shot of composite ribbon is made in known starting point of composite ribbon handler and by means of ten curvilinear meshes, produced in previous shots of calibration object, position of projecting surface in space is determined for first and second video camera. Line of intersection of these planes is compared to position of middle filament of composite ribbon known in advance. Calibration of video cameras is considered complete, if points of intersection of these lines with plane of handler movement coincide.
EFFECT: increased reliability when producing calibration parameters of digital video camera.
