SUBSTANCE: at the steps of the method: forming an array of pictures of the planar test object from different angles and distances, determining the coordinates of the points of the test object in the coordinate systems of the camera and the laser device; measuring spatial coordinates of projections of points of the fan-shaped laser illumination on the plane of the test object in the coordinate system of the test object; in each row and in each column of the projection grid, calculating the linear distances between these points, calculating the spatial coordinates of the projections of the illumination points on the plane of the test object in the coordinate system of the illumination device; points with known spatial coordinates are re-projected onto the image from the camera for each aspect and the rotation matrix and the parallel transfer vector are iteratively refined between the coordinate systems of the camera and the fan-shaped laser illumination device.
EFFECT: automation of measurements required for calibration of spatial coordinates of points of projections of laser illumination on plane of test object.
