FIELD: technology for identifying and tracking equipment units, primarily, pipes.
SUBSTANCE: antenna is electrically connected to reacting response device, such as radio frequency identification device. Antenna may be positioned around external and/or internal pipe surface. Transmitter-receiver may be moved outside or inside the pipe at significant distance from that pipe. Communication is provided between transmitter-receiver and reacting device irrespectively to orientation of the pipe. Information about identification may be collected in database to maintain precise history of use of property like pipes, equipment, tools and/or other devices.
EFFECT: increased range of signals, which may be received and/or transmitted by reacting device.
