SUBSTANCE: claimed filter contains one or more metal phthalocyanines such as copper or iron phthalocyanine and additionally it contains one or more polycationic active polymers. Additionally filter contains one or more pH-modifying additive other than polycationic active polymer. One or more metal phthalocyanines and one or more polycationic active polymer are dispersed sufficient homogeneously in whole filter volume. Also disclosed is smoking article containing abovementioned filter and method for production thereof.

EFFECT: total removing of toxic and mutagen compounds from tobacco smoke.
