Abstract RU 2295461 C1

FIELD: transport engineering; locomotive electric systems.

SUBSTANCE: proposed fan speed automatic control system of ac electric locomotive has traction motor 1 with smoothing reactor 2 and current sensor 3 placed in armature circuit of motor, local demands winding 4 of power transformer connected through first unit of contactors 5 to windings of drive motor of fan 6, ventilation pickup 7 arranged in air ducts of fan and connected by output to one of inputs of control microprocessor 8. Temperature transmitter 9 is secured on bus of smoothing reactor 2, being connected through resistance-isolated unit 10 to other input of control microprocessor. Thyristor frequency converter 11 is connected by output through second unit of contactors 12 to windings of drive motor of fan 6. Setter 13 is connected to one of inputs of control microprocessor connected to output of current sensor 3 and to inputs of thyristor frequency converter 11 and second unit of contactors 12.

EFFECT: reduced power consumption for local demands of electric locomotive, provision of reliable and effective operation of power equipment.
