METHOD FOR PREDICTING HYPERPLASTIC ENDOMETRIAL PROCESS Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC A61B8/00 G01N33/52

Abstract RU 2295917 C1

FIELD: medicine, gynecology.

SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to fulfill ultrasound uterine inspection carried out in two stages, the first stage deals with echography of uterine cavity and at the second stage in case of doubtful results of echography one should conduct echohysteroscopy at introducing aspiration liquid into uterine cavity at 10-20 ml 0.9%-physiological solution to be further sampled for testing on the content of such endometrial cytokins as TNF-alpha, lactoferrin (LF), epidermal growth factor (EGF) to correlate the level of cytokins content against that in healthy women and conclude upon localization, sizes of hyperplastic endometrial part and the character of the lesion. Moreover, for proving the character of the lesion in case of hysteroscopy it is necessary to fulfill separate diagnostic abrasion and histological analysis of selected endometrial material.

EFFECT: higher accuracy and efficiency of diagnostics.
