FIELD: methods for treatment of wood.
SUBSTANCE: the method includes the stages of production of the source material from wood, treatment of the obtained source timber by pressure, drying of timber and giving the desired shape to the timber. At accomplishing the stage of pressure treatment the required pressure is applied to the timber for reducing the content of moisture in it with provision of uniformity of moisture content in all the parts of the treated timber.
EFFECT: prevented cracking, splitting and deformation of the timber in the process of drying; enhanced efficiency of use of the wood and simplified process of production of timber.
