FIELD: woodworking industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the woodworking industry, in particular to the impregnation of wood. Local removal of free moisture is carried out on the sections of round sapwood timber designed for staining by displacing it with compressed air supplied to the end of the assortment through an injector. Then the timber is kept at a temperature of 10 to 35°C for 20-80 days at a relative humidity of 40 to 70%, sawn into lumber and impregnated in an autoclave with a dye at a pressure of 0.3 to 0.8 MPa.
EFFECT: productivity and manufacturability of the process increases, the consumption of the dye-stuff decreases.
