FIELD: metallurgy industry; methods of the heat-treatment of metals.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the heat-treatment of metals. The technical result of the invention is transfer of the solid crystalline metal into the state of plasticity and yielding. For the problem solution the heating of the metal billet is conducted up to the temperature of Т, which is below the temperature of its melting Tm. At that T ≥ 0.18·Тm by the "electronic dissolution" of the metal in the heat flow at the metal temperature gradient of ▿T > l.9·104 K·m-1. At that the value of the temperature gradient ▿T is in the inverse proportion to the temperature Т of the metal heating, and the value of the heat flow in the metal billet is determined by the formula Q = λ·▿T·S. As a result of utilization of the invention there is the possibility to save the heat energy or electric power in such production processes as the metals smelting or soldering, during which it is necessary to bring the metal in the state of yielding by its heating up to the temperature below its fusion point.
EFFECT: the invention ensures transfer of the solid crystalline metal into the state of plasticity and yielding and saving the heat energy or electric power in such production processes as the metals smelting or soldering.
