FIELD: locks.

SUBSTANCE: the cylinder mechanism of the deadlock has a body, in which drums with cores and a key are installed on both sides. The body length is made permanent and less than the minimum thickness of the entrance doors, and the length of the key depends on the thickness of the entrance door. The bosses of the inserts are installed in the holes of the cover plates, round holes for the key are made in them coaxially with the axis of the mechanism cores. Segment lugs are made on the end faces of the cores, their plane surfaces are engaged with the end sections of the plane bottom of the groove made on the stepped section of the key at its rotation.

EFFECT: prevented mechanical action on the body, enhanced reliability, reduced overall dimensions and consumption of material.
