FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: cylinder mechanism of dead lock includes body, rigidly fixed drums, cores, hardened rings, guide inserts for key, and key. Cores are fixed on drums with possibility of rotation. On internal core surface there is rectangular protrusion at least from four pins. Hardened rings are installed between cores and fixing rings. Holes made in hardened rings are equal to holes made in cores. Shaped protrusion of the guide insert is made along the outline in the form of a step at least 1 mm. On opposite side of the guide insert there is annular protrusion with thread. On working cylindrical surface of the key there is longitudinal rectangular slot.

EFFECT: decreasing overall dimensions of guide inserts, eliminating mechanical effect on the core and improving cylinder mechanism reliability.
