FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: mortise lock comprises a body, where a bolt is installed, as well as bolt-moving elements and a cylinder mechanism, at the same time a master spring-loaded lever rests against the bolt, with a ledge provided at one end, which with its other end via a lever fixed with the possibility of rotation is attached to the body, and in the central part it is connected by means of a lever fixed with the possibility of rotation to the lever's end, which may be rotated with a handle, on the bolt there is a recess arranged with a rectangular and inclined walls, with the possibility of interaction with a master lever ledge, in its turn, there is a plank fixed on the bolt with the possibility of displacement in a perpendicular direction, on one side of which there is a rectangular recess with the possibility of interaction with the recess on the bolt and with the ledge of the master lever, and there is a slot provided on the plank, in direction of the bolt movement, where there is an end of the ledge installed, which fixes the bolt and the body.

EFFECT: making it possible to unify handles used in a prototype lock and simplified design.
