FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: vibration insulator comprises parallel bearing members and at least two flexible members connected with the bearing members. The flexible members are made of two sections of a rope to form X-shaped loops arranged over periphery and projecting out of the periphery of the bearing members. The sections of the rope are mounted to form a space at the points of intersections of inner and outer arcs of each of the X-shaped loops. The sections of the rope are connected with the bearing members by means of pressing rings. The ends of each of the loops are secured between the bearing member and pressing ring.
EFFECT: prolonged service life, enhanced reliability, reduced sizes, and simplified structure.
