FIELD: medicine, medicinal microbiology.
SUBSTANCE: the innovation deals with detecting hemolytic activity (HA) and anti-hemoglobin activity (AntiHbA) of microorganisms isolated out of the focus of purulent-inflammatory disease. At HA values being above or equal to 70% hemolysis, and the AntiHbA value being above 3 g/l one should predict the development of anemia. Application of the present method enables to predict the development of anemia in patients with purulent-inflammatory diseases at improved efficiency.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and efficiency of prediction.
