FIELD: dielectric processing of food products in blocks in confectionery and milk industry, particularly, equipment adapted for melting of chocolate glaze in blocks and employed at enterprises using chocolate glaze.

SUBSTANCE: high-frequency current chamber has casing, cover with charging hole, dielectric chamber, electrodes, high-frequency current generator, dielectric inserts, heat insulator and branch pipe for removing liquid phase of food media. Dielectric chamber is formed perforated. One of electrodes is made in the form of immovable perforated bottom of chamber and other electrode is made in the form of piston with dielectric insert positioned for reciprocation thereon.

EFFECT: increased efficiency by eliminating formation of product overheating zone through timely removal of liquid phase from food overheating zone and also from zone where food product is exposed to high-frequency current, provision for uniform heating of product and reduced consumption of power.
