FIELD: manufacturing processes in machine engineering, namely apparatuses for combination type finishing and strengthening treatment of parts of steel and alloys by electric thermal surface plastic deforming at static pulse loading of tool.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes tool with striker and wave- guide; deforming tool mounted in free end of wave-guide; electric current supply roller providing electric current supply to blank. Electric current from low voltage source is fed electric current supply roller and to deforming tool. The last includes deforming roller and it is mounted with possibility for applying static load and cyclic pulse load normally to treated surface of blank. Electric current supply roller is mounted diametrically opposite relative to deforming tool with possibility of applying to it static load equal to static load applied to deforming tool but having opposite sign.
EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities, improved quality of treated surface, enhanced efficiency.
