FIELD: machine engineering, possibly controlling kinematics accuracy and smoothness of spindle operation at making and at using circular grinding machine tool.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of using oxidized disc; mounting it in centers; joining it with spindle of headstock and joining active cylindrical surface of disc with that of grinding wheel; imparting rotation to grinding wheel due to friction forces between joined surfaces of oxidized disc and grinding wheel by means of drive unit of headstock; evaluating cyclic kinematics error of spindle of headstock according to presence of bright stripes occurred on active surface of oxidized disc and parallel to disc axis. Number of said stripes formed during one revolution of disc is equal to frequency of cyclic kinematics error of headstock spindle. Width of said stripe along circle of active cylindrical surface of disc is equal to amplitude of cyclic kinematics error of spindle of headstock. In specification formula for calculating said amplitude is given.
EFFECT: simplified reliable rapid process for controlling smoothness of operation of spindle of circular grinding machine tool, improved accuracy of grinding, lowered roughness parameters of machine parts.
