FIELD: food-processing industry; sugar industry in particular.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes mixing hydration sediment obtained at hydration of vegetable oils with alkaline, stirring the mixture, introducing the sulfuric acid solution into this mixture, stirring and settling of mixture and separation of upper layer in form of fat mixture. Concentrated hydrogen peroxide is introduced into this mixture at the following ratio: fat mixture : concentrated hydrogen peroxide 99:1 - 85:15 mass fractions. Mixture is stirred till partial oxidation of fatty acids for separating of settling-out agents and water from fat mixture - foam suppressor.
EFFECT: high foam killing coefficient of sugar-containing solutions.
