FIELD: foundry, possibly injection casting of metallic material in thixotropic state, for example casting magnesium base alloys.
SUBSTANCE: center runner unit is used for connecting nozzle duct of casting machine with runner system of molding equipment. Unit includes several regulators of temperature zones dividing by segments center runner length. At performing casting process localized temperature monitoring is realized. In place of nozzle to mold connection temperature lower than transition temperature of material to be cast to melt state is sustained. It provides practically fluid-tight joining of nozzle of molding machine with casting mold. Center runner unit includes isolating connection coupling for isolating heated casting sleeve against motion effort.
EFFECT: possibility for realizing flexible manufacturing process.
