FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method for forming thin-walled electrochemical cell 50 includes bringing negative-pole layer 52 in contact with positive pole layer 54 or with optional layer disposed in-between. Pole layers and optional layer disposed in-between are chosen so as to ensure self-formation of boundary separating layer 56 between pole layers as these poles are brought in contact. Electrochemical cells formed in this way are characterized in that their thickness and porosity can be adjusted and, consequently, their power characteristics can be controlled.
EFFECT: reduced in-storage swelling of batteries assembled of such cells due to gas escape or eliminated accumulation of unwanted gases in thin-walled liquid batteries.
