FIELD: medicine, traumatology, orthopedics.
SUBSTANCE: one should fulfill wedge resection under the bottom of the 1st metatarsal caput to shift it outwards till the juncture with the 2nd metatarsal caput followed by fixing the 1st metatarsal caput with the diaphysis of the 1st metatarsal bone percutaneously with two pairs of intercrossed needles applied through osteotomic area. The ends of needles should be bent and fixed above the skin upon lamellar accessory of Ilizarov's apparatus. Then it is important to cut a protruding angle of the 1st metatarsal diaphysis. The innovation enables to decrease the risk of relapses.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
