FIELD: rescue equipment.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has cable, snap hook fixed on chest ring of binding or belt set, spring-loaded catch pad, and winch. Each of said catches has two guiding members. First guiding member formed as cylinder embraces cable to hold winch fixed thereon. Second guiding member formed as rod with piston at its end cooperates with guiding cylinder equipped with spring. Attached table positioned near each catch is closed with soft mat. Top of highest building is connected through cable with low-story building or is sequentially connected through cable cuts to tops of low-story buildings. Each subsequent building which is lower than previous building is equipped with spring-loaded catch pad consisting of hermetically sealed air casing. Catch pad is adapted for receiving of flatwise lowering individual's body rolling over inclined stretched cable.

EFFECT: simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation.
