FIELD: rescue technique.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has hoop made in the form of flexible member with lugs fixed thereto, and members for hanging of hoop and separating of hoop branches. Apparatus is further provided with fire-and-smoke protecting channel extending through all stages of building, from the top to the bottom. Hoop consists of steel cable with steel lugs attached thereto and is driven by means of motor-reducer. In order to utilize said apparatus, detachable cap is put onto lug, said cap being provided with cut for cable. Detachable cap is connected by steel cable with belt harness and plank to be gripped by hands of individual to be rescued. Apparatus is provided with mechanism enabling automatic removal of cap upon completion of down-take of said individual, and canting supporting platform for people preparing for down-take operation. Channel walls are equipped with slots providing access for operator, access of said individuals to supporting platform, illumination recesses closed with fire-resistant glass which is reinforced with steel wire. Apparatus of such construction needs minimized time in order to prepare it for operation, and it allows evacuation to be provided through elevated temperature zones which are heavily fumigated with toxic gases.
EFFECT: minimal time for preparing of apparatus for employment, increased efficiency and increased number of simultaneously rescued individuals.
