SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the plasma-catalytic purification and sterilization of the air in the domestic, public and industrial premises from viruses, bacteria, vapors and aerosols of the organic compounds. The installation includes the body having the inlet and outlet channels, in series arranged between them the power supply unit, the gas-discharge assembly and the catalytic section. Before the gas-discharge assembly there is the mounted fan with the control unit. The gas-discharge assembly is made in the form of the plasma-generator having the insulating cassette with a set of the plates made out of the high-porous cellular material, the dielectric, and the electroconductive plate. The catalytic section contains the heat-gas-insulating partition, the thermal heating components consolidated on the catalytic blocks of the section and made out of the high-porous cellular metal and the catalytic blocks made out of the high-porous cellular materials. The catalytic blocks are used as the constructional, form-generating and carrying substance of the catalytic section. The invention allows to increase productivity, that result in the possibilities of to purify the air from the high concentrations of the contaminants (up to 10 g/m3).

EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased productivity of the installation the plasma-catalytic purification and sterilization of the air in the domestic, public and industrial premises from the high concentrations of viruses, bacteria, vapors and aerosols of the organic compounds.
