FIELD: heat engineering, applicable in designing and reconstruction of furnaces of industrial boilers; most successfully the furnace may be used at burning of coarse-dispersed crushed fuel, coal and shale.
SUBSTANCE: the swirling-type furnace has a combustion chamber with a dry-bottom ash hopper, formed by the slopes of the lower parts of its walls, low blast installed under the mouth of the dry-bottom ash hopper and inclined downward burner for delivery of fuel-air mixture installed on the wall of the combustion chamber. The furnace is provided with an ash collector installed between the combustion chamber and the convective pit, and with a circulation sluiceway. One end of the mentioned sluiceway communicates with the ash collector, and the other with the interior of the combustion chamber. The outlet of the mentioned sluiceway is positioned between the mouth of the dry-bottom ash hopper and the burner for fuel delivery, and the ash collector is selected from the condition of catch of particles exceeding 0.5 mm. The sluiceway is provided with a means for transportation of the fly ash and a means for delivery of sorbent.
EFFECT: improved design, enhanced efficiency.
