FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: converter comprises first and second shielding plates made of a conducting material. The measurement and compensation inductive coils are made of flat semi-rings and are mounted in a single plane of the housing face. The directions of winding of the turns are opposite in the plane. The first shielding plate is interposed between the coils along the longitudinal axis of the frame, and its outer face is flash-mounted with respect to the housing face. The second plate is made of a semi-disk whose shape is similar to the shape of the semi-ring coil. The second plate is mounted above the plane of the compensating coil with a spaced relation to the frame. The space is equal to the nominal space between the measurement coil and the object to be measured.
EFFECT: enhanced precision and sensitivity.
