FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: converter belongs to eddy current converters of shifts, gaps, beating of objects under control which objects work within 20-500°C temperature range. Converter has metal screening case where ceramic frame is disposed; the frame has two circle recesses in cross-section. First recess is disposed close to surface of working edge of frame; the second recess is disposed at some distance from the first one along longitudinal axis inside frame. The distance is equal or longer than diameter of frame. Measuring and compensation inductance coils are put into recesses; the coils are connected in differential. Gas-proof thermo-resistant coating is applied onto external edge surface of frame's wall. Drainage sleeves in form of longitudinal and lateral channels are made in the body of frame. Inertial gas is introduced under pressure into drainage sleeves through one of branch pipes of the case. Branch pipes are provided with automatic valves which work when inertial gas pressure in drainage sleeves reaches specified value.
EFFECT: widened functional capabilities of converter.
