FIELD: electrical engineering; silver-zinc batteries for short and extra-short discharge conditions.
SUBSTANCE: proposed stand-by chemical current supply has unlike-polarity plates with separators in-between placed in electrolyte-filled jar and plate leads connected to binding posts. Novelty is specific mechanical design of battery leads which are made in the form of flat metal strips provided with side notch, their top part being bent through 180 deg. Leads are reliably attached to binding posts by means of solder heated to temperature over 180 °C.
EFFECT: enhance reliability of soldered joint, facilitated manufacture of silver-zinc battery.
