SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of shaping article from material with polymeric binder and fillers; at side of working surface of article performing heat treatment at temperature exceeding maximum temperature of article operation by 20 -40 % for 10 - 90 seconds. Initial surface layer formed on friction article features stable friction factor.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of method, improved friction factor of article.
