FIELD: polymer materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparing friction material, which can be used for making friction unit parts for a variety of mechanisms and machines such as brake members of drum and disk brakes, motor car couplings, etc. Material contains, wt %: powderlike polyamine-imine resin (PAIS-104) 10-15, butadiene-nitrile rubber latex 2-5 (for solids), fibrous filler 15-25, carbon filler 2-7, alumina 10-15, bronze chippings 3-5, graphite 0.5-2.0, calcium hydroxide 0.5-1.0, and barite concentrate - the balance. Fibrous filler is a mixture of polyoxadiazole fiber (Oksalon), basalt fibers, and glass fibers at their ratio (1-2):(3-5):(1-2). Carbon filler is a product obtained by heat treatment of non-stoichiometric titanium carbide TiCx (0.5≤x≤1) impregnated with industrial machine oil, diesel fuel, exhausted oil, or mixture thereof, said heat treatment being carried out at 700-900°C under an inert atmosphere.
EFFECT: enhanced corrosion resistance of material and suppressed release of phenol during manufacture and use of material.
