FIELD: production of nonwoven materials, in particular, equipment for manufacture of mat from mineral filaments.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has device for cutting of strips having predetermined length and width from thermally fixed carpet of mineral filament, means for rotation of strips through 90 deg relative to their longitudinal axis, and means for placing of turned strips in side-to-side manner in the form of laminated mat. Means for rotating of strips through 90 deg relative to their longitudinal axis has at least one cassette construction adapted for placing groups of strips in side-to-side arrangement after cutting thereof, and means for rotating cassette construction through 90 deg relative to longitudinal axis of rotation extending in parallel with longitudinal axis of strips. Apparatus is further provided with feeding cassette for placing of strips rotated by means of cassette construction. Feeding cassette has ejector located adjacent to its discharge edge.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved construction.
