FIELD: detection of air suction places, possibly in heat and power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of directing steam produced in boiler to turbine and condensing it in condenser; feeding main condensate of turbine by means of condensate pump to low-pressure regenerative heaters and then to elevated pressure deaerator. In order to determine air suction places multi-duct oxygen content meter is used. Pickups of said meter measure oxygen content in main condensate behind condensate pump of turbine and behind second (along motion direction of main condensate) low-pressure heater. Air suction places are detected on base of absolute values of readings of two pickups of multi-duct oxygen content meter and according to difference of said readings.
EFFECT: improved efficiency and operational reliability of heat and power plant.
