FIELD: quality control; chemical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring trial gas pressure and temperature in reservoirs at initial time moment with pressure and temperatures continuously measured in reservoir under control during given time interval. Reservoir sealing tightness is judged at any moment t from tightness criterion value: Ψi(t)= T0 Pi(t)/(P0 Ti(t)), where P0 is the pressure value at the initial measurement time moment, in kg/cm2, T0 is the temperature value at the initial measurement time moment, in °K, Pi(t) is the pressure value at current time, in kg/cm2, Ti(t) is the temperature value at current time, in °K. The reservoir is considered to be tightly sealed in case Ψi(t) criterion value is during given time interval within the limits of 1-Δψ ≤ ψi(t) ≤ (1+ Δψ), where Δψ is the tightness criterion ψi(t) error defined as total pressure and temperature measurement error.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of the control of the tightness combined simplicity of its carrying out.
