SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of gases flow rate metreing and may be used for precision measurements of low flow rates of non-aggressive gases in case of their permanent flow from closed reservoir of available volume, for instance in process of combustible gases supply into burner for measurement of their calorific value, in process of calibration of low gas flow rate metres, and also for scientific research. Method for detection of gas flow in process of its distribution from closed reservoir includes maintenance of permanent gas flow rate in process of its distribution, measurement of gas pressure and temperature in equal intervals of time directly in closed reservoir and detection of gas flow rate from closed reservoir with application of gas condition equation by speed of pressure variation in closed reservoir under normal conditions with account of reservoir volume.
EFFECT: reduced volume of information required for measurement of low flow rates of non-aggressive gases of unknown nomenclature and their mixtures, and also improved accuracy of measurements.
