FIELD: mechanics, pipelines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline transportation and can be used for introduction of in-pipe tools, a "mole"-type tools, into the pipeline. A support device containing, at least, one support side, is located opposite the pipe inlet. The support device is fastened to the pipeline so as to move it along the pipe axis. The in-pipe tool collar is fitted into the pipe inlet, and the rod/rods rear end is thrusted against the support site/site. The rod front end is thrusted against the in-pipe collar, the said tool is moved inside the pipe by moving the support device along the pipe axis. With the in-pipe tool section fitted inside the pipe, the support device is moved back to detach the rod/rods. The device is furnished with, at least one rod and support device, comprising, at least one support site for one rod end, an appliance to be fastened on the pipeline and an element of coupling with the support device. The coupling element incorporates a drive to move the support device along the pipe axis.
EFFECT: high-efficiency method of introducing in-pipe tools into the pipelines.
