FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment for harvesting of cereal crop grass seeds with highly non-uniform maturation extent.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has feeding chamber with sides and herbage dividers, seed accumulator and air flow source. Herbage dividers are made from curved rods and are fixed on feeding chamber so as to define space for accommodation of movable flexible threshing members. Gap between adjacent dividers is smaller than minimum size of threshing members. Seed accumulator is kinematically connected with feeding chamber coupled through pressure pipeline to compressor. During seed harvesting, herbage is divided by dividers and is further delivered into feeding chamber. Compressor creates in feeding chamber vortex air flow influencing upon plant tops and irregularly moves threshing members which perform threshing. Matured easily threshed seeds are separated and transported into settling chamber. Remaining seeds are left for further maturation on plants.

EFFECT: wider range of threshing intensity on plants and increased efficiency in harvesting of high-quality seeds.
