FIELD: shipbuilding; building of ships with turbo-jet engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed surface ship has turbo-jet engines mounted on pylons on either side in front of ship's CG, hull with propellers, superstructures for various services and reversing steering gears. Turbo-jet engines are provided with reactive nozzles which are inclined downward at angle of 45° to turbo-jet engine axis and to water surface for creating the reactive thrust raising the ship's bow above water surface in front of CG and developing maximum running speed when ship's stern is submerged. Reversing steering gears may be located under ship's stern for performing such operations as casting-off, mooring and braking. Ship may be provided with laser range finder, target indicator, TV observation sighting system, armament and rescue facilities.
EFFECT: increased running speed of ship due to use of velocity of gases and pressure of reactive thrust of turbo-jet engine nozzles.
