FIELD: shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surface vessels running on compressed airflow and destructing ice cover by resonance method when moving on ice cover. For destruction of ice cover by vessel on compressed air flow, flexural-gravity waves are used in ice when vessel moves above ice with resonance speed. LH and RH auger propellers are mounted on the sides of the ship, their front parts have an angular ledge with a sharp edge, which is covered from above by a stationary shield along their length. On the ship, a coaxial impeller is placed, which injects air into the channel towards the bottom of the open pneumatic channel, limited by side skegs, where compressed air comes out towards direction of open part of ship stern, for snow cover, and screw propellers on the sides of the ship cause additional vibration on the ice surface and noise on the ice. Lowered screw propeller on water surface, when flowing around its shape, also forms vortex wave phenomena, which are carried out periodically with frequency equal to resonant flexural-gravity waves for a time equal to half the time of the period of these waves.
EFFECT: increased height of excited waves at possible critical speed of the ship on compressed air flow on solid ice and increased thickness of the latter by means of interference of resonance flexural-gravity waves.
